Cead Mile Failte
A Hundred Thousand Welcomes

The Police Emerald Society of the Hudson Valley is a fraternal organization comprised of Police and Peace Officers as well as community members from throughout the Hudson Valley region. The majority of our membership comes from Dutchess, Orange, Ulster and Putnam counties, however; we also have members from several other counties in the region. Most of our members are of Irish descent but all of our members are of Irish spirit. We currently have just under 150 police, peace, associate and honorary members, all of whom proudly promote law enforcement and the Irish culture and our membership grows each month.

Our objectives are:

To unite and promote fraternalism amongst Irish/American Law Enforcement Officers

to include City, State, County and Municipal Police Officers, Federal Law Enforcement Officers

and Peace Officers, within the Hudson Valley Area.
To recognize and promote the contributions of our ancestors and the accomplishments of Irish/American Law Enforcement Officers.
To encourage active participation in community activities.
To encourage and enhance professionalism within the

Law Enforcement profession to better serve the community.
To exchange information and enhance communications among our membership.
